Subway:

Battery Park City is served by most downtown lines depending on your destination.
For Rockefeller Park and the Irish Hunger Memorial
Take the 1/2/3 or A/C line to Chambers Street.
Walk west along Chambers and cross West Street (West Side Highway) into BPC.

For Esplanade Plaza, the Upper Room, Rector Park and South Cove

Take the 4/5 line to Wall Street, or the 1 or R/W lines to Rector Street.
Walk west along Rector Street and cross the pedestrian bridge into BPC.

For Wagner Park
Take the 4/5 to Bowling Green, or take the 1 to Rector and walk down Greenwich.
Walk west along Battery Place until you pass Historic Battery Park and enter BPC.

WEEKEND SERVICE

The 4 terminates at Brooklyn Bridge (in Manhattan) and Atlantic Avenue (in Brooklyn).
The 2 and 3 makes all regular downtown stops.
Also making regular stops are the 6, A, C, E, N, R, W and M and J.

Bus: The M9, M10, and M22 buses all stop in Battery Park City
Ferry: The Trans Hudson ferry runs direct from Hoboken and Jersey City to the Nelson A. Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City.

Public transportation is highly recommended for your convenience.
From Manhattan and the Bronx, use either the southbound Westside Highway, or the FDR Drive to West Street.
From Queens and Long Island, use either the Queensborough Bridge or the Midtown Tunnel to the southbound FDR Drive. Take the FDR to West Street.
From Brooklyn, use the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to West Street, or use the Brooklyn Bridge to West Street via the FDR Drive or Chambers Street.
From Staten Island, take the Staten Island Ferry to Battery Place. Battery Place wraps around Historic Battery Park and enters Battery Park City between Pier A and the Ritz Carlton.
From New Jersey, use the Holland Tunnel and follow the signs to West Street heading downtown.
From West Street, turn west onto Chambers Street, Murray Street, Vesey Street, Liberty Street, Albany Street, West Thames Street, or Battery Place.

Public parking garages are available throughout Battery Park City and at the Battery Parking Garage between Greenwich Street and West Street. Entrances are available on Morris, Greenwich and Washington Streets.

BPC Parks are generally open from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., year round.
